Anyways..
Yes, it is my first attempt to create a Magazine Cover.
That is my math teacher, Mr. Trongone, and he wanted to be in Mountain Creek snowboarding with his family out of anywhere in the world.
So I tried to make his dream come true.. on the magazine cover anyhow.

Created in Adobe Photoshop 7 and Quark

If you have ever heard of the Magazine called "Traveler"...
well that might help you out when looking at this.

In my Graphics class we basically just picked a teacher, took a picture of them, cut them out of Photoshop, got a background picture, and put them on the background picture making it look realistic... yada yada
Then we took the final picture of our teacher along with the background and brought it into Quark.
We did a whole bunch of measurements like "Professionals," well our teacher did a lot of peoples in my class... grrrr@#$@!!
But anyways, we did the measurements with the actual magazine and fixed it to the computer with the Quark text.
We added our own cute little headings, subtitles, and catch phrases or whatever that had to do with our teacher and the month we chose.

This is my final turn out.
I think it looks pretty good, except my teacher printed it out in Illustrator so the pixels on my image of my teacher look funky. pff.
I'm pretty happy that I matched everything together nicely.
